The site started with an old iPad and a hallway full of questions: “what’s the weather?”, “when’s the next bus?”, “what are we doing for dinner?” Rather than answer them on a loop, she mounted the tablet where everyone could just look. That one fix became a project, and the project became this site. These days Sophie tracks down practical ways to repurpose the tablets quietly gathering dust in your drawers: family dashboards, digital photo frames, kitchen displays, and whatever else takes a bit of friction out of the day. A lot of the best ideas come from readers like you. None of them send you down a smart-home rabbit hole or eat up a whole weekend. They just work, on the devices you already own.
